High Energy Homes program cuts Los Altos Hills resident bills

Are you tired of paying high home energy bills?  Would you like to know how to reduce your energy costs at no cost?  As a service to residents, Los Altos Hills has teamed up with a local non-profit, Acterra, to provide a free, step-by-step approach to saving energy — without making a significant impact on your home operation.

The High Energy Homes program offers you customized recommendations for finding “free money” in your utility bill. Using an innovative software program, Silicon Valley residents in four towns similar to Los Altos Hills are now saving an average of over $700/year on their PG&E bills.  This is all done at no cost to the homeowner.

Using SmartMeter data, this easy, online analysis is specifically designed to reduce energy usage in larger homes by offering recommendations tailored to your home’s energy use profile. It doesn’t require someone to come to your home and all data is held confidentially.  That's incredibly easy and convenient!  You get your report without having anyone visit your home.

Discover how you can stop home energy waste and pick up this “free money” by going to www.acterra.org/highenergy.  If you need help with this request, please feel free to call me.  I'll help you!  This is a great opportunity.

Based on a grant from the California Energy Commission, the High Energy Homes program is available for a limited time to 280 Los Altos Hills residents. The program will end April 22, 2012, so sign up today and stop your energy leaks!  You want to be one of those 280 residents so don't delay.
