86 Third Street Los Altos Condos for Sale

Why Do People Live here?

The 86 Third Street condos are a new construction project in downtown Los Altos. They're located about halfway between State Street and West Edith.  The project is mixed-used with 5,500 square feet of office or retail space on the ground floor and condos above. The 20 (twenty) condos will cover the second and third floors. Prices will vary based on size and location in the building.

There will be underground parking which has been a key feature of all the condo projects built in the last few years. The style of construction is an updated version of mid-century modern.

These condos are ideally located a short stroll from shops on State Street and Main Street. With the new supermarket and several upgraded or new shops and restaurants, people are flocking here for the ultimate blend of urban convenience and suburban lifestyle.

The builder of this project has extensive experience in Los Altos so the overall construction and finsih quality will be top notch. The interest list if building now. If you want to get your name, give me a call and I'll help you.

What's the Neighborhood Like?

Downtown Los Altos is a vibrant, active place with plenty of events happening all year round. Among the popular events are the Farmer's Market, the famous Los Altos Art & Wine Festival, and the Festival of Lights Parade (winter time). You'll be a short walk to all these things and more.

The downtown area itself has undergone a major upgrade in the last few years. Los Altos used to be a sleepy little village, waiting to be modernized. That has taken place with the addition of several new office buildings and residential developments. The increased population has made downtown much more active than ever before, but not too much.

What's Going on Nearby?

86 Third Street is in the heart of downtown Los Altos  which means a short walk to great restarurants, shops, and services. The new Safeway is only two blocks away and the seasonal farmer's market takes place on State Street one block over.

Living here you'll also be only a few minutes away from other popular destinations including downtown Mountain View (Castro Street) and downtown Palo Alto (University Ave).

There are many popular restaurants here including Opa!, Los Altos Grill, and Aldo (a favorite).  There are several interesting shops including a really nice toy store, a newly constructed book store, and even a Verizon Wireless store.  You can get nearly anything all within a few blocks.

What Schools will the Kids Attend?

If you buy a home here the local schools are Bullis Elementary School, Egan Middle School, and Los Altos High School. To get local school scores and more information about these schools check out the Los Altos school reports on Greatschools.
